Privacy policy
Last updated 8 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data this website, masbando.com, processes, why, and what your rights are. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The short version: this site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, loads nothing from third parties, and processes personal data only in the web server’s logs and when you send us the callback form.
1. Controller
Masbando GmbHRuetihofstrasse 658049 ZurichSwitzerlandinfo@masbando.com · +41 44 244 90 40
2. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content
- This website sets no cookies and reads none. There is nothing to consent to and therefore no cookie banner.
- There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks and no social media plug-ins.
- Fonts, scripts and styles are served from masbando.com itself. Your browser contacts no other domain when you read this site.
- Links to other sites, including our training portal at slides.apps.masbando.com, lead to services with their own privacy terms.
3. Server logs
Like every web server, ours records technical data about each request: the IP address of your device, date and time, the page requested, the status of the response, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the browser type. We use these logs to keep the site running securely, to detect abuse and to find errors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); FADP Art. 31(1)). Logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
4. The callback form
When you ask for a callback, we process the data you enter:
| Data | Name, company (optional), e-mail address, phone number, topic, preferred time, your message (optional) |
|---|---|
| Purpose | To call you back, answer your request and, if you want, prepare an offer |
| Legal basis | Your consent given with the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and steps prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); FADP Art. 31 |
| Transmission | The form is sent to our mailbox as an e-mail from our own server. It is not stored in a database on the website. |
| Retention | Until your request is settled. Correspondence that becomes part of a business relationship is kept as a business record. |
| Abuse protection | To slow down automated submissions, the server keeps the network address of recent submissions in memory for one hour and a count of all submissions for one day; the web server in front of it counts requests per address for a few minutes. None of this is written to disk. |
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@masbando.com; we then delete your request unless a legal duty requires us to keep it.
5. E-mail and telephone
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you give us to handle your request. The same purposes, legal bases and retention periods apply as for the callback form.
6. Recipients and transfers abroad
We do not sell or share your data. Recipients are the providers that host our website and our e-mail, bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. We do not transfer personal data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA unless the recipient country offers adequate protection or appropriate safeguards are in place.
7. Security
All connections to this website are encrypted (TLS). The site runs on hardened infrastructure with security headers, a content security policy and read-only containers. Access to the mailbox is restricted to the people who handle requests.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- obtain information about the personal data we hold about you,
- have inaccurate data corrected and, under the conditions of the law, deleted,
- restrict or object to processing based on a legitimate interest,
- receive the data you gave us in a common electronic format,
- withdraw a consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, write to info@masbando.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if the GDPR applies to you, to the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
9. Changes
We adapt this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Older versions are available on request.
